RC

RC has grown up and around animals her whole life.  Her parents bred and showed Siberian Huskies.  Then though out the years, there were Great Pyrenees, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Strays, cats, fish, Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, Mice, horses.  From about 9 years old, RC work with the local humane society in finding forever homes for these beloved animals.  She would train these dogs in basic obedience and fun tricks.  RC started volunteering her summers at the MN Zoo work as well as teaching children how to ride and take care of horses at a YMCA day camp.
As a young adult RC start working with Protection dogs; observing and learning new behaviors.  She worked with trainers for over 2 years before acquiring her first Belgian Malinois.  Over the years RC has had Beaucerons, Labrador Retrievers, Australian Shepherds, Siberian Husky and domestic shorthair cats.
RC has been training dogs for over 30+ years and service dogs for over the past 13 years.  She has trained 6 service dogs completely and helped numerous owner-trainers train their own service dogs. RC also has a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary studies and a master’s in healthcare Innovation.  As a disabled individual herself she truly understands the needs of a disabled handler.  RC trains with various methods depending on the needs of handler and the dog.  RC currently has 2 Beaucerons.
